Nourish Snacks// Full of protein & honestly really delicious I keep these at my desk and in my backpack. I love Monkey Love, Coco'Nilla Crunch and Mind Your P's & BBQ's.
Apple & Peanut Butter// A great sweet treat, but make sure you choose a healthier peanut butter and don't eat too much peanut butter. But it satisfies my sweet tooth, which is huge so you should be good!
Chopped Apple & Cinnamon// Looking for some apple pie? Chop up an apple, add a little cinnamon and put it in the microwave for a minute. It's really good, and the perfect late night sweet treat.
Carrots, Cucumbers and Fiesta Ranch// A great, savory and healthy snack for studying or just watching tv. If you're looking for a little crunch, this is perfect! Buy a fiesta ranch packet (normally by the dressings at your grocery store), and mix it up with some greek yogurt.
Skinny Pop// A little more on the expensive side, but it's perfect sweet and salty snack, without too many calories! Gives you a perfect portion!
Berries// Cut up some strawberries with blackberries and blueberries, even sprinkle a little sugar! It's a great dessert or small snack to always have on hand.
Granola Bar// A great grab and go option! I would look at K bars, Kind bars and others that are low in sugar and high in protein!
What do you eat while you study? Any favorites?

Always good to get a reminder to stay healthy when fall semester rolls around :) these are great tips!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh you eat so healthy haha!! I try to stay away from super junky foods like oreos, candy bars or potato chips, but I am all about popcorn, pretzels, "healthier" cookies, and cheese! So "healthy" haha. :p

Oh how I only wish I was headed back to college this year... :)
ReplyDeleteYum! These sound like perfect snacks for me to prepare for work! Carrots are my life- but I went a bit overboard with them and I think I have developed a slight allergy!

I try to eat berries as a snack or yogurt. Of course I can't help but splurge on ice cream every so often. Life is about balance I think!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these snack ideas. Have you ever tried eating a frozen banana with peanut butter - so good!
ReplyDeleteI need to try those cinnamon apples! It sounds so easy and yummy
ReplyDeleteApple and peanut butter was always one of my go to snacks!! One of my favorite ones now is putting white chocolate chips on peanut butter...I know it is not as healthy, but still has the high protein with the peanut butter.
ReplyDeleteSkinny Pop! and apples and peanut butter are always my favorite go-to's!! Great list!

My go to at school was a Nutrigrain Bar. On Tuesday/Thursdays last semester I had three classes back to back (bleh). Before class I usually got breakfast and would save the Nutrigrain bar in my backpack for between my second and third classes where my hunger usually struck.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to share this with my sis! She just left to FSU and it's been so hard for her to stay healthy. Thank you for this!
