Autumn Wish List

While it's 80 degrees outside right now, I'm looking forward to 55 degree weather! Autumn is my favorite season to dress for, because I can normally forgo a heavy jacket that is often necessary in the winter in Wisconsin. To be honest, summer trends don't often appeal to me because of air conditioning (#alwayscold). In autumn I can be comfortable inside and out!

Layering is key in autumn to transition from summer! These pieces are great, and you can pair them together as the tempertures drop. I'm looking for button downs to layer with sweaters, becuase that would be my winter uniform. Nice tops are perfect to layer under a blazer and can be worn out too. Shoes are my favorite part of season, and all of these are a must for me. Do I really need those heels? No, but I really want them!

Valentines Day

I can't believe we're already talking about Valentines Day! It seems like only a couple days ago I was putting away my Christmas presents. (Okay so I was... Procrastination station). My plans involve volunteering and my best friend/ roommate. Here is what I would love to wear out with my girlfriends or on a date with MB!

I love this dress! Definitely perfect for work to date night wear. It's also not in your face Valentines day all red and pink kind of dress. It's more subtle but yet festive!

Winter Wonderland: Fur

We got our first snowfall for the year this weekend, which made the perfect backdrop for my previously planned outfit post!

I love how my mom decorated this tree! It was the perfect back drop for one of my favorite cold weather outfits. Over the past year I've definitely fallen in love with vests. They are a perfect layering tool and this fur vest is one of my new favorite pieces. I love wearing it with skirts and this gingham shirt. I'm excited to have more opportunities to wear it in the new year! These Hunter boots are perfect rain or snow. The boot socks add insulation and they still look cute with my outfits!
