Life Lately

 I'm finally home for the summer! Here's what I've been up to the past couple of weeks!

My parents came up to Green Bay to help move me out and for a leadership awards ceremony. The next morning they took me out to IHOP. My dad is such a goofball.

Later that day i went to a wedding with MB & his family, we had a great time!

First work session at my favorite coffee shop, Dunn Bros. 

MB started his blogger boyfriend summer this past Friday taking outfit pictures for Saturday's post

My little sister AV and I went with our dad fishing Saturday night. It was beautiful out. 

I started my #100HappyDays last night because this summer I hope to appreciate Wis before I leave for five months. 

Happy Birthday to my daddy! He's one of my biggest supporters and I love him so much. I will probably miss him the most when I'm abroad!

I would love to take a minute to thank all of our service men & women, past & present. Your sacrifice has not been forgotten or gone unnoticed. I am lucky enough to know multiple service men & women and I am proud to be their friend. Take a moment today to say a little prayer for our military, because the freedom is not free.

1. What is the first thing you do on a lazy Saturday morning?

I would definitely say read through blogs and make coffee! I love being able to wake up slowly. 

I love waking up to a flower and a pic of MB and I!

2.What would your ideal breakfast be, don't forget the coffee?

Sugar muffins made by my mom or grandma, eggs and sausage made by my dad, and a huge cup of coffee with hazelnut creamer. I miss breakfast Sunday mornings the most when I'm at school!

My todo list is always ready on my desk! 

3. If you could have woken up this morning and been anywhere, where would it be?

Is it cheesy if I say where ever MB is? Preferably somewhere in Europe with a giant cup of coffee, a croissant and MB! 

4.What is your favorite instagram filter?

X-Pro 11! I like the way it looks on most of my pictures. If I even use a filter. 

dWa has the best blog, I would add her to your regular reading list!

Why I Blog & Favorite Blogs

WOO! Two posts in one week!
I thought I would share with all of you why I started blogging. I got this idea from one of my favorite bloggers Pretty in Pink!

I started blogging in February because I wanted to hone my writing skills as well as share my thoughts. I am a very opinionated person, but in a good way. At least that's why I like to think. 

I started looking for blogs that I could relate to. This sounds weird, but I was trying to figure out ways to find myself, or define who I was more. As I started to find  blogs via Pinterest and Google, I found that the young women behind the blogs were like me. I was able to find some much needed fashion inspiration. (Seriously though, my fashion sense has improved massively in the past year). Blogging inspires me to do great things with my life.

I am most definitely going to be editing my favorite blogs! Here are just a few of them!

 
Rachel is hilarious! A sorority woman like myself she is super relatable!


 

 

Dorothy is a college freshman and totally adorable! I love her blog, she has the cutest tutorials!

 Belles in Bows:  She is a recent Midwest transplant and has the best style! I love her outfit posts!

  

Ashleigh is great! She is a sorority woman, and seems to always be on the go! She has the best posts, and almost everyday!
