Don't have just a to-do list// Instead of just having a to-do list, prioritize it! Number your list, or write it down in order of importance. Social media strategies exam > dishes.
Have Meeting Agendas// We've all been in a meeting that takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r because no one can keep on task. To keep all your meetings productive (and shorter), you or the meeting leader should create an agenda to follow.
Please Buy A Planner// It can be $8 from the University Book Store, but please buy a planner. Write down important dates and to-do list items.
Find Your Most Productive time// Some people are night owls, others are morning birds. Find a time at either end of the day to do work when other people are asleep. You're going to need this time to get real work done. Think writing, brainstorming, and strategic thinking. If you're a morning person and a college student, it can be difficult but worth it to wake up 1-2 hours earlier than normal to get work done.
Take Breaks// You're brain will function better if you get up and walk around, drink some water, and eat a snack. Watch your favorite Youtuber or call your parents too!
Start & End Your Day with Lists// This may sound weird, but start you day by looking at your to-do list and editing it if need be. End your day by making a to-do list for the next day. You'll start off your day with a goal, and end your day without having to worry about your to-do list as your drift off to sleep.
Schedule Your Day// Instead of playing it by ear, schedule time for your tasks! It will keep you accountable and make you more productive! (Schedule tasks by time it will take and priority number!)
Read// You can't run your own world without knowing what's going on around you. Make sure to take some time to read! Read productivity tips, read about people who made their dreams work and read about those who failed yet succeeded later. Use them to inspire you to be productive!
Remember Your Accomplishments// While you're out doing these amazing things, take a moment to remind yourself why you're doing what you're doing. Also look back at all you've accomplished in one day.
How do you stay productive? What are your tips to do it all?
xoxo
