What I Wear: Internship

I work at an ad agency in downtown Milwaukee, and the dress is really casual. Basically no shorts nor work out clothes.

Shirt// J. Crew Factory Pants// Gap Shoes// Nordstrom Necklace//BaubleBar Earrings//Nordstrom

I would normally grab my jean jacket from Old Navy in order to stay warm if there is a chill in the office. This dress code is fun because I'm able to be more creative with my outfits.

What do you wear to your internship/job? Favorite stores?

Stripes & Summertime

I love that the weather has slowly been warming up. I've spent the past week at home sitting on the deck. While I've slowly drove myself crazy, it was nice to spend some time outside before I start my internship on Tuesday!

I love this dress, unfortunately it's sold out so I linked to a dress really similar! I love my jean jacket because it goes with every dress I wear in the summer and I can grab it if we're going to be outside late at night. I'm always cold so it travels with me every where.

MB was a great photographer, and he will be getting the full experience this summer being a blogger boyfriend.

OOTD Finals

This is basically what you'll see me in for the next week.

Lauren James Shirt /Nike Shorts/ Nike Flip-Flops/ North Face Backpack/ Lilly Agenda / Southern Pro Hat

Comfort is key. I really could care less about how I look because of how much I'm packing and working on things. But Lauren James and SoPro keep anything classy and cute!

What does your finals week OOTD look like?

Valentines Day OOTD

Valentines is just a couple weeks away! Here is a cute night out outfit for a date or a night out on the town with their girls!

Skirt// J.Crew Blouse// The Limited Shoes// DSW Earrings// J. Crew Necklace// J.Crew

Add a black blazer if you need a little something extra! I know this looks a little business like, but it's the perfect day to night outfit. I would wear this on a date, but that might just be the prep in me! I love dresses but it's so chilly up here, and I like to buy pieces I'll wear multiple times.

Do you have a place to find the perfect red dress? What about pink?

OOTD: Red Vest

Even though the Polar Vortex is behind us, Wisconsin weather will be cold until at least March.  Here is an outfit that is so versatile.

Boots// Nine West Button-up//Old Navy Vest//Kohls (similar) Leggings//H&M

I would pair this with a chain link necklace and bracelet, pearls, and Essie's Berry Naughty.

This outfit has a lot of different options. You could substitute jeans for a fun night out outfit. Or just wear the plaid shirt, or just the sweater. The vest could be paired with just the sweater and just the button-up.

I love outfits that I can make multiple different outfits out of!

Do you have a go to outfit?

P.S. This is my second day of RA training, and I'm still nervous about it!

OOTD: Black Blazer

I love blazers, and I think they are a lot more versatile then people think!

While you can where one to work or a to a job interview. Maybe when you want to make a good impression for something, use a blazer. It can even be cute going out.
Here is my version of a  casual date night outfit using this black blazer!

Jeans//Gap  Blazer// JC Penney Blouse// Old Express Boots//Old (similar here

I would pair this with a monogrammed necklace and Essie's Shearling Darling.

Blazers also can be tailored to fit any body shape. They are perfect with a tank, a casual t-shirt or a dressier blouse like the one in this outfit.

What do you wear a blazer with? I also have a navy one that I love!

OOTD: Navy Cable Knit

One of my goals for this year was to do more OOTD posts.

Boots// Nine West Scarf// Kohls Sweater//Gap  Jeans//Gap

This sweater has been on rotation since I received it for Christmas! I pair it with a warm scarf, a link bracelet and pearls. (Of course)

The wonderful Polar Vortex has been ridiculous. My siblings were home for two full days (ugh..jk...kind of) and I was so excited for them to go back to school. MB leaves for a study abroad course for two weeks tomorrow, so I should actually start checking bigs items off my todo list!

Anything in your closet that's been on rotation? Favorite sweater?

Blues & Leaves

I am headed over the the Twin Cities for my twin cousins' confirmation! I can't wait to see my family!
I guess you could say I have the blues today!

Chambray Shirt// V-Neck Sweater: J. Crew// Gap Jeans// Sperrys

I love chambray! You can wear it in all four seasons, dress it up or down and with pretty much anything! It's also relatively warm, and since I'm pretty much always cold (just ask MB) I love layering with this shirt!

Have you invested in a good chambray shirt?
