Thursday, Friday, & Saturday

Hey y'all, I know it's super late but I just started using my MacBook Air and I'm still getting used to it.

Thursday
Thankful for all of my opportunities, especially the ability to travel.

Murano, Italy

Friday
I am so very thankful for my parents and my siblings. Their support and love has got me through a lot. I'm lucky to have a close relationship with my family! I'm very independent, but I still love coming home.

Saturday

Today I am thankful for my sisters! They have allowed me to grow in so many ways! I have become much more confident, as well as happy. They're constant support has been much needed, and I hope that I can help my wonderful sisters as much as they have helped me. I also can't wait for more beautiful sisters to join our sisterhood this Wednesday!

Tonight I will post what I am thankful for today later on tonight, two posts in one day!

Diet Coke & Coffee

It's Tuesday morning and you're probably think why is she thankful for Diet Coke & Coffee?
That's a great question. I am thankful for diet coke & coffee because they have allowed me to be successful and spend time with loved ones. Some of the best memories I have involve diet coke & coffee.
My senior year of high school my best friends and I spent hours upon hours at a coffee shop in my hometown. These days it means grabbing a  quick cup with a sister, meeting up with my people at that same coffee shop, or the time to drink a cup of coffee nice and slow. At night diet coke is my beverage of choice as my roommates and I talk, laugh and just be silly.

What food/drink reminds you of people?

I'm going to need both of these this morning! Opening the library means caffeine, caffeine, caffeine.

xoxo

Monday Thankful Thanksgiving

Happy Monday! Today I am thankful for the "Fantastic Four". No, not the movie. I'm talking about myself, KG, AD, and MB.

The four of us have traveled to three national speech tournaments together, seen each other way too many times at 6:30 in the morning, spent bus rides laughing in the back, and had the time of our lives together. These are my "people". I'm so lucky not to just have a "person" but rather three people I can go to with anything.

KG, AD, and MB all went to the same K-8 private school. I, being the public school child I am, met AD and MB when I had them in classes freshman year. MB and I started awkwardly dating, and went to winter formal with a couple of my friends and a couple of his friends. I thought KG's name was Megan until we got together to try and win a bid to Nationals.  (Way to go MB).
We traveled to Albany together Memorial Day weekend of 2009, and the rest is history.

This is from our last trip to nationals together, Washington DC. Here we are at the HardRock cafe!
(no MB and I weren't dating yet)

Madison when we went to visit KG. She's a year older than us, and she goes to UW- Madison. Senior year of high school, we missed her! Now she and AD go to UW- Madison.

This past January in Chicago in front of the Bean.

This past May. Both MB and I have our eyes closed, but other wise it's a great photo!
I have plenty of other photos, but none of us want that on the Internet.

We all judged debate at the state touranment this past January and had a blast. Do you have people that when you're around them everything  is funny? Well we were probably the most obnoxious people in that room, but it is one of those weekends I'll remember for the rest of my life.

I know that these people will be there no matter what, and we'll pick up right where we left off

These are my people. Who are your people? Do you just have a "person"?

This is my fourth day of "Thankful Thanksgiving"!

Sunday Morning: Thankful Thanksgiving

Today I am thankful for Sunday mornings.
At home, it means waking up around 8:30-9:00 am to watch Sunday Morning and sit down with my family to a pancake breakfast. (My brother insists on pancakes) We then get ready for church and come back to homework, a light lunch and football.

At school it means a big pot of coffee, Bloglovin and a good book. Sometimes I even make myself eggs and toast. I also try to read a passage from a devotional I received from my youth leader before I left for college.

Sunday mornings are relaxation. I am thankful for the quite moments that Sunday mornings allow me. They allow me to recharge and prepare myself for the busy week ahead.

My favorite Sunday Morning song
Maroon 5 is one of my favorite bands, I never not love their music.

November Link-up! Thankful Thanksgiving!

Happy 1st of November! Where did October go?!?
I think that we all talk up what we're thankful for, but can we find 27 different things/people that we're thankful for? This month I'm hosting a daily link-up where we share a daily "Thankful Thought"

I personally have a list of 27 things/people that I'm thankful for, but if one day I am thankful for something I hadn't thought of, I will definitely be posting about that instead!

Day 1 of Thankful Thanksgiving! Comment with a link to your Thankful Thought!
Today's Thankful Thought:
I am thankful for Friday mornings. This maybe weird, but I am thankful for Friday mornings because I normally don't have to wake up for anything.  I can sit in my pjs with a nice big cup of coffee, Netflix, Bloglovin and the Huffington Post without having to worry about what's next?. Fridays are relaxing.

While I normally clean/blog/ do homework I still don't have to rush it. Also, I normally take the time to actually cook! It's the little things right?

Check out this post about Autumn Mornings

What are you thankful for today? If you're linking up, comment with your link to the first day of Thankful Thanksgiving post!
